Karen McKay is a self-taught artist influenced by the likes of Beryl Cook and Stanley Spencer. She lives with her husband and scrappy little dog on the borders of beautiful Rutland and Northamptonshire.

Having spent two years living in the hills of North Wales, she has been moving back and forth through this stunning part of the country for nearly twenty years.

Inspired by the breath-taking beauty of the Welsh mountains, the vast empty beaches, and the people that inhabit this small corner of the world, she attempts to capture these elements in her light-hearted 'Welsheepish Collection'.

Her images celebrate the beauty of the world about them and, in particular, Wales.
